well we started our day fun at the lord louis pub for our all you can eat breakfast £3.99

 ;) ;)

a plate of pure happiness

we were not in a rush today as spoonboy was meeting us

he had to drive 50 miles just to get to plymouth   :o :o

so he arrived just as we were finishing our plate of pure happiness

perfect timing  ;D ;D

so off we went

todays line up the all v6

this was where our afternoon would take a turn for the worst

i said over the cb this next lane is good but it will be interesting to see how we go

as with the ground being so damp we could slide into the gully   :o :o

so in we go

all good for the first 25 feet

then the car slipped down the bank into the gulley   :o :o

so out came the winch to pull the car up again   ;D ;D ;D

but the car went over even more and the engine died

due to the angle of the car the fuel pump could not pick up the fuel so the engine died   :o :o

not a good place to be with no engine running

we had 4 people hanging off the side of the car for ballast ;D ;D

its a good job they all had 2 portions of breakfast as it showed   :laugh: :laugh:

spoonboy was behind me a came in a little more

then also slipped into the gulley   :o :o

but its ok we he reversed back to get out without and dramas

then i look back down the lane and he has only decided to come back in

after we spent an hour getting mine out   :o :o

but he has now dropped into the gulley again

so now i had to reverse back down the lane to pull him out

you will never guess what happened next   :( :(

yep im in the gulley again when only moments ago i was free  

but now im stuck again

so we deployed the winch again to pull me out

then decided to play it safe a run several ropes back down the lane to his car

with a few slapps with the kinetic rope spoonboy was free from the gulley

but not without its damage   :o :o

i had scuffed the wheel arch

and broke the end off the roof spoiler    :(

so we set to work

spoonboy jacked her up so that we could get the body kit bolts undone

within minutes it looked a lot better   ;D ;D

we were having lots of fun and covered a lot of lanes without any problems. ::)

We went along a few very long lanes and I was thinking 'are we there yet ?' when Lee said on the Citizen Band Radio that he was heading to V Lane...

I hadnt been there and Lee said it would be fun and we might get stuck...sounded ok :)

looks like another good day i missed  :D cant wait till work eases off a bit so i can get out again. missing the mud  :D :D

it just goes to show the ever changing lanes

only a few weeks ago we did this one without any trouble

but a bit of rain can change the lane in no time at all

we knew we would have difficulties going in

but proceeded with caution

again all the recovery gear was used

you can never have enough recovery gear

but what a great day out

we will never forget

overnight the pixies have cleaned the car & polished out all the scratches

ready for its next adventure

the damage is not bad at all

considering it was dragged 30 feet up a lane on this side of the car yesterday

it just goes to show that my rock sliders do exactly what they are supposed to

with three people standing on them for ballast holding onto the shogun roof bars its a very user friendly car   :laugh: :laugh:

grendle your G wagen would not fit up that lane even on a dry day

Its videos like Daniels and Lee's that do show that we play hard and sometimes its bound to go wrong.

I think we could have got the G up there using team work..... 4 club members with a hacksaw each .....cabriolet ! :laugh:
