Armchair Laners

well what a day,
a big thankyou to all that attended todays lanes,
we started the day at mcdonalds so that we could have a hearty breakfast,
with 11 trucks we decided to split up into two groups,
i led the first group with shaun leading the second,
we had this planned for a few days as i had pre programmed new garmins with the days lanes,
we headed up the A38 at 0900 sharp,
to do the first of many good old favourites,

we ended up at red post garage after a hour of manic mayhem at tally ho bridge,
well you missed out big time if you were not there,
fat head decided to see how far up the tree a defender 90 could go,
with his car almost on its end,
i was stood in front of it and was seeing his front bumper from a whole new eye level angle,
good job the tree was there otherwise i reckon i would have been a new slim line flat packed model  ;D
we then started to winch or tow some others up the lane as it was well slippery  ;D
my passenger sj steve ended up catching the laptop as it launched itself up off its perch,
well caught mate,
it was a well a truely great time in the lane,
i do have some of my pictures but wont be able to load the rest untill tomorrow,

Well today was my first time out with the armchairlaners being a passenger with lee in air force 1 ;)
and i must say even though i wasn't driving my own truck it was one of the best days out i have had
everyone i met today was really nice and good to talk to and best of all there all up for a laugh  ;D ;D ;D
cant wait to get my truck sorted so i can get stuck in and i would definetley recommend this club to EVERYONE.......

Happy 2nd birthday armchair laners, wat an awesome day only have few photos of the crime watch line ups as was too busy trying to steer the defender with its newly bashed very wobbily steering from my flight earlier in the day. Thanks everyone for an awesome day out, Iv just got to fix the steering bar and will be ready to roll again. Cheers
