i had this dropped off to the garage last night
a 3 week old winch with slight damaged
unfortunately this winch has taken a battering
being hidden behind a bumper no one realised the full extent of the damage
the cable had been deployed right out then we winched up a hill
because no one could see how the steel rope was laying onto the drum
we ended up with all 3 stabiliser bars being broken and one of the castings itself were snapped
someone was not so happy

with such force its bent the bars clean off

he stripped it right down to inspect it completely
new gaskets
the sheer force of the winch against the cable has even bent the bolts
fully bench tested to ensure its pulling properly
