thank's frantic. seems like lee's giving her some love.  we've got faith in the 'great frontera' yet. will let you know how she gets on.

will try and remember which one it is, there are 2 relays there, if i can remember i will let you know

right, if it helps it is the fuel pump relay, 'm reg' sport behind nearside headlight, may be different, but at least you can check if the fuel pump is working and eliminate that one  , mine cost £30 from evans hallshaw a few years ago

the problem we have frantic is the chipped key does not read the ecu because its wet,
we have a constant flashing immobiliser fault,

the AA have looked at it and my mate the auto electrician,
we need to dry the ecu before we can continue on our quest,

for the revival of the titanic,
