12,000 Mile Maintenance Service

as posted in the workshop manual    

Applies to 230G, 230GE, & 280GE
At 24,000 mile intervals, first perform all steps in the 6,000 and 12,000 mile service and also perform the following steps.

Replace

Manual transmission fluid
Automatic transmission fluid and filter
Transfer case fluid
Front axle differential fluid
Rear axle differential fluid
Fuel Filter
Air cleaner paper element
Front axle wheel hub grease

Every Three Years

Replace engine coolant

Every Four Years

Replace cooling and heating water hoses
