well we started the day at mcdonalds

where the sun was out and it was quite a nice but fresh morning

crocs cb radio wasnt working so we quickly changed the aerial then the cable

thought best to chuck a new unit in the car

so went up to the garage and had it fitted and working in minutes

einstein was the navigator for the day

he was all confused and thought we were going shopping again   laugh laugh

but soon had us in some nice lanes

croc managed to get a steel bar in the side of his petrol tank   Shocked Shocked

so a quick stop to get the car an an angle to stop the fuel coming out

then a quick fix with some chemical metal a cup of T and were good to go

then i could smell petrol

so i parked on the verge only to find i had also got a leak   Shocked Shocked

never

good job croc had some of that chemical metal left as i to had to have a quick repair to   Sad Sad

we stopped a few times for well earned T breaks as it was hard work fixing our cars today   laugh laugh

we did manage to get up to roller coaster which was to be the last lane of the day   Shocked Shocked

as a couple of the usual suspects wanted to sit in the warmth of there car

rather than get out and help move the trees that were in our way   Shocked Shocked

so we moved the trees and pulled the cars forward

then put the trees into the lane once again for those who have been sat in the warmth of there cars

muttering over the cb how we should do it and to climb out of our windows ect ect     Wink Wink

well a lesson was learnt there then

they now had to get out of there cars and move all the wood that we did   Grin Grin

many hands make light work    Wink Wink

not im alright jack

a little dissapointed to be honest but im sure they will help next time they are out

this lane was unfortunately to be our last of the day

as they did not find the education lesson very helpfull and stormed off down the road

without speaking to us     Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

oooops i blame it all on croc and einstein     laugh laugh

the day went down hill with einstein taking the wheel
as my neck was hurting after an incident with a car a couple of weeks ago

this young cow took one look at einstein and it was off   laugh laugh

the weather is on the turn   Shocked Shocked

we even got a picture for shaun as he does like to see these minters on the road   laugh laugh

the tree that we struggled to move on our own
so had to cut it up

well what a dirty boy
einstein after he was wrestling with the trees

thats it for today
till the next adventure

Really good start to the day, well breakfast was good  the weather was ok,

The line up

my bad luck started with a dodgy CB, Embarrassed  well by dodgy i mean it didnt work Cheesy Cheesy so with a quick stop at lees autos we fitted a nice new shiny CB so that meant lee and dave couldnt talk about me cos i could now hear them Cheesy

Dave did pre lane checks whilst waiting for the fitting

After the detour we hit the lanes  Grin
we were like a band of brothers each keeping a look out for the next always a good idea when things go wrong at the start Wink Wink

The navigator also doubles as a locking hub operative.

with Lee leading and keeping an eye in his mirror to check on me

I shared the same courtesy for my tail man.... Yep still there  Grin Grin

a couple of lanes in and i had another mishap, i found a bit of metal had gone through the fuel tank so whilst i fixed that problem the rest of the crew did the only sensible thing.. stood and took the mickey whilst drinking coffee.

After a repair with some magic chewing gum we were on our way

still there  Grin Grin

lee then went and tried a lane and decided that it was a little wet to try this one after a couple of attempts

then low and behold my bad luck was contagous, after a comment that lee could smell fuel we stopped to check my repair that was fine the smell was coming from lees,
heres the culprit, leaky sender seal

so time to mix up some more silly gum

and push to seal  Cheesy

then we set off again, with a check in the mirror, yep still there  Cheesy Cheesy

we entered what was to be the last lane of the day entrance check still there  Cheesy

.

myself and and lee had to move a large log whilst the navigator, had also now been given job of head photographer, we call for assitance and were met with cant get out of the car, so. and this is where i believe a misunderstanding took place, further up the lane we came across another blockage and  decided to go reverse back, it was at that point we decided to clear said logs and may not have thrown  the logs upon the bank fully and i believe that as i drove past they may have fallen into the lane, Cheesy Cheesy s we didnt realise we carried on the fifty yards or so to the top of the lane and waited for our rear end man. we called, we beckoned and after a time he came out from the lane.

Now i assume that because it was a dreary afternoon and i have a dark car he didnt see me in the lane opposite and took a wrong turning. again we beckoned and got no answer, so thought bad luck to have two CB's go down so we raced to the main road and waited. no sign of David.

with only two it was lonely so we called it a day.

  .

so people remember always check your mirrors, and if you work as a team things can be thrown in the hedge properly with no risk of falling into the lane Cheesy Cheesy

Till next time peeps  Wink Wink

That Rangey is one of the rare rusty models. Probably worth a bit!
