somerset weekend may 2013 the long way up

What a great weekend away
we started the day at the lord louis pub for an all you can eat breakfast
we left rather full
soon we were in the lanes
saturday was awesome with some old favourites but lots of all new stuff added to the maps
we got back to the hotel around 7pm
where we soon got washed and polished ready for the pub
well except dave and roadrunner
as no polishing will make them look tidy
dave was our taxi driver for the journey to and from the pub
to where we ate like true kings
the staff were great and the food was awesome
we tried most of the menu
soon it was time to go
so we got an early night ready for day 2
we were all up and out bright and early
for another day of fun
we went to mcdonalds for our sunday breakfast as its a tradition now
we were soon on our way and straight into another set of lanes
a couple of minters to start the day
dave nearly broke his snorkel on some tight trees
he was not happy
we had plenty of T breaks today
we even stopped at the chapel
as some were deeply troubled souls and wanted to be blessed
all in all a great weekend full of brand new lanes
which have now been refined for a return visit
we met lots of lovely people along our journey
big thanks to all that came
especially nevnav who did a grand job
farmer was showing us all the new tool box
sam decided to have a afternoon sleep
whilst farmer was driving
so he stopped for a photo
i put my face against the outside of window
then sam woke up and had the fright of his life
we did all laugh so much
checkout farmer
nev even found some landy bits for his collection
the video of the weekend is now on youtube

called
the long way up
