yet another great days fun had by all  laugh laugh laugh

we started the day with a big breakfast at the pub   Wink Wink

but were soon on our way

i jumped in with simon 74 for a catch up as i havent seen him for a while

oh my god what have they done to this lane    Shocked Shocked

simon seemed to get stuck on the only twig in the whole lane

someone left a packet of biscuits on the bonnet

so whilst tin basher was swapping a wheel over after he had the first puncture of the day

i thought it would be rude not to help myself   laugh laugh

oh yes they are very nice   laugh laugh

whats this simon   Shocked

waffle boards

good job jimny bob had a set in the boot   Grin Grin

if king arthur had a chainsaw this would be it

what a beauty   Grin Grin

although i think its a tad big for that tree   laugh laugh laugh

oh no now hes back with his new pick

last week he showed us the pixie shovel now hes got the matching pixie pick axe

what ever next i ask you   laugh laugh

a great lane to show how well the kinetic ropes work   Grin Grin

kev was doing his yoda impression

trying to magic the pajero out of the mud

more like mistic meg i reckon   laugh laugh

why is it whenever im in with simon he is so muddy   Shocked Shocked

he really is a dirty boy

how do you get this dirty when you are in the car   Undecided Undecided Undecided

oh no something has broken   Shocked Shocked

kar.mat got out the bits and bobs bag of goodies to find a new nut and bolt

wow now that is a dent  Shocked Shocked

we heard over the cb that tin basher had yet another puncture   Shocked Shocked

never thats the second one today

another sharp bit of slate through the sidewall   Sad Sad

kev had to get down and dirty to place the jack under the car

justa  quick check to find the hole   Shocked Shocked

yep its a gonner

the jack started to sink in the mud with the weight of the car   Shocked Shocked

this would not happen if you had a tracmat jack board kev    laugh laugh

with the car sinking kev had to dig out a hole to fit the tyre back on

with digging so fast kev burried the nuts   laugh laugh

a nice clean wash bay   Grin Grin

but not for long as simon wants to give the car a clean   laugh laugh

washing the car is just as important as checking the oil

good as new

simon realised how important the waffle boards are

so on his return he popped in to buy his very own set ready for next time   Wink Wink

as ever a very entertaining day out

big thanks to all that came out today

it was fun

till the next adventure

 Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

the video of the day is now on youtube

as you can now all see

you must have your own recovery gear    Wink Wink

as its not fair on those who do have the equipment to keep lending it week after week

for those vehicles without a winch waffle boards are truly a must

along with shackles , kinetic ropes , jack boards , jack ect ect

so for all those members without the basic of equipment    Shocked Shocked

its about time you got your own gear

Hi

Looks like a great day out and some good pics !

so surprised neither of the rear side windows went with those savage roof dents !

Shame they ruined that lane, was a great 'scratchy' one if I remember right, rocky climb looked harsh !

Totally agree here if you are going to go out laning  I think you need to have the basics to recover yourself if needs be .
After sundays trip out I could see the need for even a second spare wheel as one of the trucks had two punchers  Cry .
I have a couple of alloys that I may get a part worn tyre just to get you home if the worst was to happen  Cheesy Cheesy

Well Mattt, it was in a lane where Lee said "I wouldn't take my truck down here, way too much damage!"  Shocked

To be honest reckon the tree saved a potential roll so think I got off lightly.

Ah well it was only a matter of time until the battle scars began. Wink Wink

 laugh laugh laugh

simon i think you got off lightly as we usually go up that one   laugh laugh

the last few months has taken its toll on that lane with the sudden appearance of the gully in the middle now

it was still great to watch

at least we got it all on video mate
