we were soon at mcdonalds for our traditional breakfast  laugh laugh

we were met there also by chris our newest member who was driving the defender 90
and a very tidy one to
he chose the right day to bring it with shaun leading the way
as if the discovery fits then the defender should do to   Wink Wink

we were soon on our way out into the vast unknown
within minutes i was playing with the electric seats again like a big kid   Grin Grin

but oh no  Shocked Shocked
the seat has had a malfunction and my knees are now stuck touching the dash   Sad Sad
never
shaun said with a smug grin that will teach you to play    laugh laugh

within only a few miles my knees were getting sore

when i looked down i could see my flesh through my trousers   Shocked Shocked

shaun wanted to stop to admire the tractor

that looks a bit deep even for a landrover with a snorkel   Shocked Shocked

and everyone knows that landrovers disolve in water   laugh laugh

eathan you got your shirt on inside out    Shocked

oh yes so i have  laugh laugh

we stopped for a well earned cup of tea

this is a bit tight sean   Shocked Shocked

oh no damage

we could use the help of a tree surgeon to pop a plaster on this one   laugh laugh

never the disco is stuck   Shocked

we deployed the winch

its all attached shaun

i was worn out so i decided to rest my eyes and knees   laugh laugh

big thanks to all that came out to play today

also to shaun for leading the day on yet another great set of lanes

especially for the bigger cars

Todays chllengers

we went down to lopwell but decided because i was in the rav i may not cope with the depth  Embarrassed I think sean was actually worried about his landy dissolving  Grin Grin

Irony at its best   Roll Eyes

not stuck!! admiring the scenery  Wink

just to point out EVERYONE else made it through without recovery  laugh laugh laugh

little bit tight

after lee ran out of sweets shaun kicked him out  Embarrassed so i offered him a lift " dog was in the front only space was in the boot", in he got

apparently the rav is too bumpy for lees taste ( he must have got used to the wallow of a landrover  Smiley) so next time he can walk  Grin

Thanks to all again for another fantastic day out.

Till the next time..........................

Another excellent day out with good company and good humour.   laugh laugh laugh

Rumours of the Land Rover getting stuck are largely exaggerated, I just wanted the stretch out the winch rope.

And the electrical fault on Lee's seat was I'm afraid down to too much breakfast,  I plugged in the diagnostics machine on my return and it came up with fault code *FB101 - One at a time please!*

Here's the Pack…..

What a lovely day ….

The sign said Land Rover’s only so we had to turn around.  The Japanese cars started running rough just from the sound of running water …..

This is why you need to choose you winch attachment points carefully!!

Quick fuel stop for Chris in the Defender, the rest of us used the opportunity to stuff ourselves on Lee’s biscuits …….

Whats it doing up there Huh?

Ah yet another superior vehicle, poetry in motion ……

The Sasquatch, see how he blends in with his surroundings.  A common sight in Devon & Cornwall lanes at this time of year.
