sunday 24th august 2014 out and about tour

yet another great days fun
we took advantage of only 3 cars again today
we went all over the place
as with a smaller group you can cover a lot more ground
so we checked out some of the lanes in a variety of areas
which we have not done since winter last year
so now we have checked and re graded the lanes ready for this winters fun  



















this tree is not a tree its a space ship

if you look closely you can see the antenna out of the top  







chunkster got the mrs to get the tea on    













it was down to me yet again to go and test the depth of the water before we crossed it

i wasnt taking any chances so i put on my arm bands just in case i got washed away



dan thought it was to deep to cross so opted for the bridge



chunkster just went for it

as he had a snorkel  











the comms centre was navigated my myself today  





i scraped under this tree as not to disturb it or break my windscreen again

but dan was having non of it

he drove drove into it and the tree snapped off as it was so rotten

well lucky no one walked under it

as im sure it would have hurt if it fell on there head











the landrovers were in there elemant

as they just love the sea air  









today dan is collecting leaves  



chunkster could not get out







oh no it just had to happen

chunkster got out to assist mrs chunkster in changing the wheel

well when i say assist i mean

come on dear jack up the car

thats it keep going    



mrs chunkster as usual did it all by herself  



we cruised up and down the motorways at a steady 50mph

as we always do





oh my god we have the chuckle brothers

rock on tommy  



wheres you banjo    

and that concludes yet another fine day out in the sun

looks like you had a good day and lanes local to me to  real gutted i couldnt make it but therell be a next time

We had a cracking day out once again. shame about the tyre. must look into some stronger side walled tyres. some great lanes. some lanes we went down will be proper good in the wet.

mrs chunks dont mess about when it comes to changing a wheel.
