sunday 05th october 2014 inside out tour

we had our usual early start at mcdonalds

probrably the last one for now

as with the nights are getting darker earlier each day  

we shall probably start meeting at the winter time of 0900 from now on

anyway myself and grendle met at mcdonalds

and left in time to meet up with chunkster and family in cornwall

for our first lane

one of many we had for todays fun

and i thought id seen it all but no

the impossible happened today



































oh my god grendle has not only gone up the bank

but he has driven over a tree trunk as well

beached himself so bad against the hedge he cant move  



the unstoppable G wagen is stuck  

never fear the shogun is here to pull him out  

grendle had a smile on his face here



but we could see his sad face once he was back behind the wheel

swearing at his car whilst being towed

chunksters new suspension worked a treat all day without any issues at all









we came across the fields of solar  

























it was nice to see grendle out again in the G wagen

as he has been making the most of this summer

out scuba diving and fishing in his new boat

oh how the other half live    

another good days fun

Had an excellent day out exploring new lanes. No massive dramas today. The gremlins were out in force today. First with grendle's CB, then with lees tablet. But nothing happened to the landrover   only a broken mirror and broken indicator but that was due to me.

great day had by all. Some really interesting lanes. Really enjoyed ourselves today.

 OK the G got towed : . Have to point out totally driver error, the nut behind the wheel was trying to take Photo's while negotiating the tricky track of the day while also suffering from man flu!

 Used my kinetic rope for the first time. Fantastic no snatch on the tow and no strain on the Trucks at all, far better than a strop or rope. Thanks for the tug Lee.

Lee also sorted the CB issues out when we got back...happy days!

Nothing important fell off the Disco this time, but I lost the entire drivers side mirror mount...which takes something on a G.

Looking forward to next time
