we started the day with our breakfast at the lord louis

awesome

then we headed out for some lanes

einstein picked a route today and it was great

plenty of water about

we took in some nice lanes today

nothing to difficult as we had a newbie riding with us

and chunkster had pulled his back yesterday and was feeling the pain so much today he even let the mrs take the wheel   Shocked Shocked Shocked

which im sure he wont be doing again soon as  now the roof is all dented and the front tyres had to be changed

 laugh laugh laugh laugh

we came across this jacked up jeep

and this tree with its very own aerial

the new dent done by mrs chunkster   Shocked Shocked

here we have mrs chunkster

ready to replace the punctured tyre

as usual we all stood and had a chat while mrs chunkster just got on with the job at hand

and the tyre was on in record time   laugh laugh laugh

big thanks to all that came out today

its was a fun filled day with tyre changes and dents

till the next adventure

Hats off to Mrs chunkster Cool

My wife just rang from the moor having driven into a ditch on a ucr and blown a front wheel.

In her panic she forgot she had a spare Undecided Undecided Undecided

Then didn't know where she was when I suggested Britania Rescue angel angel

luckily BR got a fix from her phone to find her. Meaning I didn't have to move from my seat police

So good on you Mrs Chunkster though I'm sure the boys helpped really, even if it was just advice!

Hi all

What a nice day out, after my last trip it was nice not having to rebuild my truck. A quick wash and its ready to go again.

There was quite a bit of water about so we put on our special red wellies and in we went

As always we admired the beautiful Devon countryside along the way

Mrs Chunkster was pilot today and did a great job .....maybe she did have one small mishap but we wont mention that  laugh

Our guests enjoyed the day...

up until someone stole some air....luckily that was all that leaked out eh ?  laugh laugh laugh

Of course we faced this with our usual teamwork arrangement....Lee sitting down and Einstein nearly having a hernia

Lee was in charge of Health and Sillyness...

We covered a lot of miles of lanes thanks to Einstein and Lee's routing (top job ) and it was soon time to go home to bed.

I will be sorting some video when i get time  Smiley

Until next time.

Had a cracking day out. Even with a bad back i still managed the day as shotgun. I gave mrs chunks the day in the drivers seat she did very well. even argued with a tree.

Least now there is a dent on the truck which mrs chunks can be proud of.  Grin Grin

only a small hole

mrs chunks dent its a beauty

time to put the window back in.

good as new.

mrs chunks in control

checking out the winch bumper on the disco

happy laners

thanks for a great day out.

A cracking start to what i hope will be a brilliant year of laning.
Thanks to Lee for putting up with me as navigator.

The days lineup

look at the clearance on this monster  Shocked Shocked

even with a bad back, chunkster still wanted to have a drive

whats this? A land rover with its bonnet up  Shocked Shocked

who's this? why its the one and only roadrottie, who was very eager to offer up the use of his high lift jack so that chunkster wouldnt have to get the kids out of the landy

it must be thirsty work using the jack  laugh

Oh no  Shocked Shocked mrs chunkster has put her first dent in the land rover  Shocked Shocked

where has the glass gone?  Shocked Shocked

here it is  laugh

all fixed now

Oh no  Shocked A second tyre problem

Whilst roadrottie was changing his tyre, the lane pixies were stealing air from one of chunksters tyres  laugh laugh

we then called it a day so as not to tempt fate with the spare tyre

time to wash the mud off of the shogun!

thanks to all that came out
and roll on the next one! Grin Grin
