what a good day out with plenty of gremlins

first i went out to unlock the car first thing but the remote was not working   Shocked  gremlin number 1

so there i am outside taking the remote apart and cleaning the battery contact  Roll Eyes

then i go to the garage to load up the chainsaw

and quickly went on the computer to check no one has left any messages about the day out

but the mouse for the computer doesnt work    gremlin number 2

so carried onto the pub for breakfast after a swift top up of fuel

the breakfast was awesome today

both plates full    laugh laugh

we soon went out to the car park

where grendle said can i ride with you today as i get lonely on my own

oh go one then

so we got the laptop up and running only to find its doing some sort of disk check   Shocked Shocked  gremlin number 3

so we get his things from the car and put in the back of mine

then we are all set to go

turn the key    Undecided Undecided

nothing    gremlin number 4

well i had the exact same problem a few months ago

to which i replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump

but yet the exact same problem today

so i called the AA

withing 30 minutes and they were there   Grin Grin

no messing around with this guy

he went straight for the OBD connector

to see what the problem was

and the bosch diagnostics showed up a fuel pump relay   Grin Grin

top man

now we just have to find it

after taking out the glove box and a few other parts we found the suspect relay

but it was a pain to get out so we gave it a few taps with the screw driver and the car started   Wink Wink

we tried it several times and it seemed to be ok for now

until tomorrow when i can order a new one from mitsubishi

so we got onto the open road

with a steady speed got to meet muddy tractor in no time at all

looks like someone has abandoned this landy by the side of the road

grendle was todays gate opener

a few more lanes

then the computer froze whilst we were trying to re grade one of the lanes  gremlin number 5

we got to one of my favourite lanes which looks easy but is a nightmare to get up

please note that we do use tree strops to save any damage to the trees   angel angel

we followed this beast up the road and on the side it said

built by dodge powered by cummings

and believe me it did sound and smoke like a tractor   laugh laugh

we finished the day off with some nice pretty lanes

that ladies and gentle men concludes our day out with gremlins

big thanks to all that came

till the next adventure

 Grin Grin Grin

Well that was a great day out,
Really enjoyed it, Sarah and 2 of the kids came out with me today and had a good time despite Sarah not feeling well.
We had a late start due to Lee's truck deciding it wasn't going to go, but he persuaded it and him and Grendle arrived and we met 1 minute from the first lane.

Here is how the day went.

After a slow start Wink we ended up having a great day out which could have easily been binned and missed Wink Wink

Riding shotgun in the Shogun was a good call as it ate the road miles up with ease.

Great lanes and we got to play with the winches for two stage pulls which was fun. Smiley Smiley
