well today myself and dave the tool man ventured down to the farm,
bearv8 farm to be exact,
where we went down into the bog,
to test daves new winch,
also to test out the new kinetic ropes,
both the shoguns new winch and the ropes worked perfectly  Grin Grin

we met with shaun and father

shaun getting the winch ready

we found some punches in the woods so we left a calling card  laugh laugh

oh no even the mud has a rusty colour from all the landrovers that come through

some very deep ruts

dave taking a walk round

shaun in the rangey

oh no not this again   Shocked

shaun had been down the track earlier and had to use the winch to pull him 90 feet
the winching had slightly flattened the battery
so a spare one was already in the boot just in case
now that is what you call going ready for action

out came the new kinetic rope to test out

can you see me yet  Undecided Undecided

here i am  Grin Grin

we used the winch to pull us all over the place sideways across the tracks

shaun decided he wanted to check his engine again as he could not hear it  Huh?

we had a very muddy but great day out at the farm today
big thanks to shaun and family for letting us use there lovely farm
we even got to see the landrover collection
the past the present and the future models

yes we have seen shauns future build landrover today
its progress is slow but it looks great
cant wait to see it finished

 Grin Grin

the video of the day is now on youtube,

It was a good day and proper muddy too  Grin

Well impressed with the kinetic ropes, all the power of snatch towing but without the shock and potential for damage.  No whiplash either!  Cheesy

Project "The Fox Hat" will be prioritised over the summer  Wink
