sunday 19th august 2012 local lanes

well what a great days fun

2 cars
vit boy and myself
croc and nev

it was touch and go for me and vit boy in the first couple of flooded lanes we took on water big time
the engine cut out and we sat there taking in water
we started the disco back up again with limited power
got out of the water and took out the water soaked air filter
let it run for a couple of minutes then we were back to warp speed  
which in a disco is about 30 mph  
we ended up in several flooded lanes today
which was touch and go to say the least
croc powered through them all
i think he must have filled his tyres with helium as the car didnt sink as low as us

the start of the day



oh no not this again  



a wet air filter















nev was sat in the warm car because it was raining  



but soon felt at home with his wet hat  













here we have croc sporting the new waffle board

















we had to get the maps out to find a new route
with croc doing the weekly shop at tesco on his laptop  





whats all this then  
an earthquake  





vit boy was only saying earlier that the truck looked a little plain
so here we have him with some new stripes down the side  



croc had to check on the top roof light



oh no more trees down





what a lovely place



then we went into the next lane to find this streaker running at us  
well vit boy put his foot down and streaker man soon turned round and ran for his life



im not to sure what was said but nev wandered off
he was last seen here admireing the view  



this was so strange we were driveing up a lane when i looked up a saw a load of gloves
hanging in the trees  









we had to stop as nev was haveing a board meeting  







well ive heard the rumours about stuff falling off landrovers but now ive seen it myself  
at least vit boy picked up the affending article
where as most just leave there bits in the lanes    



he put it in the back for safe keeping as he said he will wash it off and ebay it  



we took these lanes easy as we had no air filter and now no under wing gaurd  









we stop for some liquid refreshment as it was so hot today



vit boy said
hey lee what do you think  ?
do i look cool or what

i replied no mate you dont you look like one of the blues brothers  





















hello whats all this then  
the frozen food van has got stuck in the lane



we squeezed pass with only an inch spare



croc just flew past



well after a very entertaining day
we decided to head back to plymouth
so nev wanting to jump in with us



with a little pushing croc managed to get nev in the back



we got back to plymouth with plenty of time to finish the day off with a good old jetwash



you missed a bit

good day lots of lanes done. and i got thriugh the whole day without needing a pull !!! 

we had a meeting with the local old bill and found a food company that will deliver anywhere

my passenger today was monkey boy.... sorry i mean Nev



and vit boy's passenger and navigator was....?

after taking in some water and drying it out



lee decided to wash his hands of vit boy and let him get on with it



vit playing hide and seek



collecting bits that fell off!



Caterfood really will deliver where others wont 



dont scratch the truck vit!



it wasnt us officer 



we even had things hitchin a ride





couple of birds watching how we roll
