what a great day out
we had our usual fine dining at mc donalds restaurant   laugh laugh

then we went out and had a quick cb check

we found this little fella with seat belt on and ready to go   laugh laugh

then we were off and soon into the lanes

oh no here we go and only after a few lanes   Shocked Shocked

the route planner was hard at work with his crayons   laugh laugh

good job we were going slow as we went round one corner to find these 2 on there horses
the mum thanked us for driving carefully
as her young daughter was on her new horse   Grin Grin

this tree has seen better days and was snapped off from its root
hanging there
so we decided to take it down
just in case it was to fall on anyone or vehicle

croc our resident tree man
got straight to work

we soon made mince meat of the tree
and left it safe for other lane users    Grin Grin

we were driving along when einstein shouted stop   Shocked Shocked Shocked
so on went the brakes
out he jumped and ran up the hedge    Undecided Undecided Undecided

then i looked again and he was checking himself out in the mirror   laugh laugh laugh

the rowntrees toffee towbar is still there   laugh laugh

einstein relaxing

oh no luke has had an accident

we demonstrated the proper use of dave the tool mans kinetic rope     Grin Grin
and how its done
drive it like you stole it and the lwb pajero came flying out of the mud
drive it like mrs daisy and it just wont get the effect of the kinetic force

we stopped for a well earned cup of tea   Grin Grin

einstein found the country bench   laugh laugh

whats this einsteins also found a cooker   Shocked Shocked

within minutes he rustled up a pizza   laugh laugh

after his shift at the stove he relaxed at his favourite log for a rest

check this bad boy lighter out   Shocked Shocked
its more like a bunson burner

this is the newly finished lake lane

looks great until you get closer

on the other side of the gate there is a brand new post    Angry Angry Angry

we had all had to turn round

this picture was taken for shaun
as im always calling range rovers ect donkeys

here is the proof with its very own e aw number plate    laugh laugh laugh

on no we have sustained some damage   Shocked Shocked

not to sure what they have been feeding the dogs round here
but it was nice of them to warn us they have bad tummies   laugh laugh laugh

thats it chop it off    laugh laugh

a quick oil check

einstein was our tour planner today
and he done an excellent job of it
so much so that i have given him a gold star   laugh laugh

we caught a glimpse of a couple of power rangers in the woods

we ended the day down at castle motors
where we cleaned off the lights for our journey home   Grin Grin

big thanks to all that came today
to dave for the use of his kinetic rope throughout the day
also to einstein who navigated a really different route without fault Wink Wink
top man
it really was a grand day out

hope to see you all soon on the next adventure   Grin Grin

thats not such a good end to a great day
as we had already said our good byes at castle motors

dave and croc just thought you turned into the petrol station for some food or fuel  ?

however we did sit at the bottom of landrake hill for a few minutes for you to catch up
no sign of you so carried on homeward bound

if you had a cb you could have hailed us all to stop  Shocked Shocked
or we could have turned round and come back  ?

now you can see how important it is to contact everyone else in the group
as we continued our journey back to plymouth with you still stuck down in cornwall   Shocked Shocked

anyway we shall go and get your truck tomorrow afternoon as planned

Looks like I missed a good day although its probably good that I couldn't come as I found out yesterday on way back from dartmoor that both my rear wheel bearings are badly shot, not sure if they would have lasted the day laning. I see that I missed a rarity with lee even using his winch haha

Hi all

From the photos looks like I missed a great route (some i recognise-some i don't) and the usual fun-gutted. Sad

Great to see some cosmetic damage being done laugh, but my sympathy to m_att -hope its not terminal mate.

Unfortunately my 'list of stuff I need' currently outweighs my current financial situation but I will return soon as i can.

all the best.

got some nice scratchs on this one, a very tight lane at one point.

just got the car home, Big thanks to Battery Recovery, aka. positive lee and negative dave  laugh aka. Lees' autos. really great service recomended.

filled it up with oil, and it started and ran with no horrible noises. but a 4k mile turbo is properly shafted, hoping it is a bad turbo not further problems.

Thanks for yet another brilliant day out!!

Lots of great lanes as well, a bit of everything: Some narrow, some wide, some muddy and others dry

Thanks Lee for letting me navigate, it was fun Cheesy Grin

Hopefully the Lake Lane situation gets sorted out soon

Looking forward to the next outing! Grin
