well firstly i would like to thank everyone who came out today,
for all there assistance and help throughout the day,
what a day,
we started the day as usual at the port of call on west hoe,
to where i got there 10 minutes early and everyone was already there sitting down waiting for there breakfasts,
flippin eck these guys are keen as mustard,
off we went towards rocky climb to show mental metal,
on route my shoguns
brand new alternator managed to shit itself before we even got out of elburton,
not impressed with that but we plugged on anyway,
the first few lanes and we had to cut down plenty of trees to get the landy through,
the chain flipped off the chainsaw,
frantic came to the rescue with his socket set in hand to adjust the chain,
then onward we went,
then the shogun just stopped,
i thought id ran out of petrol for a moment,
but no the battery was so flat it stopped the engine and fuel pump,
freddy frantic came to the rescue with swapping my battery with his to re charge mine back up,
big thanks mate,
then mental metal came to the rescue with the smallest adjustable spanner ive ever seen,
awesome little tool that mate,
we changed batteries a few times throughout the day,
i just had to get my new battery back from frantic as he seemed to take a shine to it,
i dont think so,we ended up newton abbott way to a huge fallen tree,
the 2 major branches must of weighed in at over 1 ton each,
we soon ran out of petrol in the chainsaw,
again frantic came to the help with a funnel from the back of his car,
but not faised by anything we set to chopping it all up into smaller manageable pieces,
within an hour or so we had it all chopped up and left safe for others to use the lane,
well done everyone,
great job,
we proceeded on once more without to much drama,
then the landy had a huge clunk/bang and lost all drive,
it was way to heavy with all that rust for me to pull up a huge lane by myself,
although the shogun did get it most of the way up,
we decided to rope each car together,
as a train we pulled it to the top with ease,
a well planned job from start to finish,
once at the top the landy seemed to be working again,
so we opted for the drive home just to be on the safe side,
frantic shall be called
the doctor from this day on as he had everything we needed in his tardis,
a huge abundance or rope, twine, bits and bobs in the back of his tardis,
good job he came out with us today,
again many thanks to everyone who made it a great day,

i nearly forgot we had to tow the landy up the hill,

our towing train which worked a treat,
why ragg the balls out of one car when you can tie them all together for extra power,
another top tip from the armchairlaners,
