Hi everybody  Tongue
Those of you that came to the weekend away know that I smashed my drivers side window in one of the great lanes that we did so this weekend I thought it was time to do the repair .
First to remove the temp repair to stop the rain coming in Cry

Next to remove all the broken glass  Shocked

I found at trago they sell strong sheets of plastic ,comes in different sizes and thickness .

so with all the glass removed and cleaned up I could measure around the hole and get ready to cut the plastic sheet.

Now the plastic is all cut and I can offer it up to see if it fits .

And now to start fixing , I used self tapping screws with washers .

With all the screws fitted I used clear silicone to seal up around the plastic ( inside and out) to stop the rain coming in .

After a few coats of primer and couple of top coats its all ready for the new outing ,will do the other side next week as its only a matter of time before the glass gets broken .
