New Toy

well..  my wife bought me a welder because that's the type of woman she is and when i asked why? her reply..... "you've been looking at landrovers" 

With that in mind and the probs i was having with the Rav i thought i would buy something easy to repair and something that i could get bits for without much issue... so i went and bought a discovery! its had the inner cills welded already and the rest is solid and straight ( for the time being







we went for a test drive and all seems ok. full MOT on it 92000 genuine miles which isnt bad for the age.

and the A/Ts off the rav will go on it when i get 5 mins to swap the tyres and  until i have some spare cash for some chunkier ones..

And hopefully with in the next week i will have time to put the winch on it and then get out again.

its a minter!!!!  looks like you got a nice looking truck there! 300tdi i guess!

i would surjest you trime your front bumper gives you better approach angle. a 2 inch lift will give just enough lift and make you not to high.
and also when you start breaking stuff i got all the panel you need in the right colour aswell.

there is one simple reason for this and the low mileage

it has probably spent most of its life broken
