sunday 14th june 2015 red lane day

what a great days fun  

we started at the pub for a feast



we were soon on our way

we came across the gates to heaven



mattt wanted to try the weir so we headed out

he went over without any trouble at all

then turned round for the second crossing when he lost traction

the sandy bottom made the wheels spin

then the truck slid back into the deep part within seconds we could see the contents of the car floating inside the truck  

whos idea was this then





we soon towed mattt truck out as it had stopped running  



then we got the sales team

ere mate want to buy this lovely socket set



only one care full owner just has a few bits missing  



and jump leads used once now been washed by the river  



first job get the glow plugs out



we spun the truck over on the jump leads for what seamed like ages to get all the water out of the bores

we had no easy start so we used lynx

the truck spluttered back to life

but even better it smelled of lynx  



roadrottie sprayed it into the air box



we then drained off the fuel in the filter just in case



this is the new car wash

with extra inside the headlamps wash  



we were soon out and on our way once more  







































































































well thats it from me

Einstein navigated us around some real stinkers.

.....and Lee turned a few into stinkers.Good job he had his baby wet wipes

Then it was straight into the lanes








M_attt wanted to go first




So across safely he went


And then he decided to turn around


And try his luck a second time


But he took the deep path




and had this sinking feeling 


so out went spoonboy and roadrottie to rescue him


















Not sure they should be there




Out came the socket set




Then the jump leads




Lynx - Approved Easy start alternative










Busiest i've ever seen Lopwell dam












Oh no, a tree is blocking the way 


So out came the chainsaw














































Time to wash the truck before the mud dries
