hello all

What great day !

Lots of water today, both falling from the sky, flooding the lanes and rushing by in fords streams and rivers.

And dams..

oh did I say streams.....or is it a brook ?....

We saw lot of overgrown lanes but this one was very tidy...top job

As is usual we saw a lot of these

Our trip was highly educational ....Lee kindly explained to us the reason for this 'toadstool legged' corn shed...nothing to do with Cornish Pixies then...how clever... the rats cant climb the legs !
I did however think that the rats would have simply used the nice set of steps ? laugh laugh

Lee had also told me about his eye problems....see for yourself

The owner of this land obviously had this sign made especially for Lee....although to build a convenient ladder over the gate Huh?? sends out mixed message..

There were some breaks in the rain, without the wipers going past every 2seconds the clear view of the countryside was nice

Lots of trees, ferns and forest today ...

there was even another stream Cheesy

We waited patiently as Lee had no gate monkey today so he had to do the job himself....admirable.

So we started like this...

And finished like this

And had a wonderful Cornish adventure in between....thank to Lee for leading.

Good lanes good company and good laughs as usual. Smiley Smiley Smiley
