what a great day out

the sun was shining and we did some real crackers today  

we met at the pub for a grand breakfast to start the days fun

we had to be care full throughout the day as only to pick the bigger lanes as we had a very shiney 3 year old landy out with us  

so we did try our best to keep it dent free although there were a few soft scratches to the exterior which im sure will polish out  

tonkatoys came out today for what was to  be the vitaras last laning day  

as it started to lose water from the start of the day

so every time we came across a stream or river we stopped to top up the water bottles for top ups  

and there were plenty  

but after climbing up haytor woods the axle started to rub on the arch  

the tie bar had broken off

so it was strapped back on

we managed to get jason back to the main road where he nursed the car back home

but after a short time the axle became loose once more but with more damage

the rear prop came off and went through the floor  

so into 4 wheel drive and still going  

he got it all the way back to plymouth  

its a special die hard model  

the last laneing day for the little vitara  

till he gets another offroader
 









































































































someone has been running around all day

and im sure will sleep well tonight

big thanks to all that came out today

it was a good one

james was navigating and we even had a huge cake

i like cake

many many thanks for a fantastic days laning. A brilliant mixture of lanes to cater for all of us. A massive thank you for looking after Daniel, protecting his pride and joy and making him so welcome. We know that he thoroughly enjoyed the day and went home knowing far more about his 110 and him.

Apologies but no pictures of suitable quality from us , will check with Daniel to see if he has any.

James says a special thank you for entertaining him and teaching him about the maps, he really enjoyed his day too.

The weather and cake topped off a wonderful day.
