well what a great days fun

we were joined today by mike from the total off road magazine

who met us at the pub for a hearty breakfast

we were soon on our way out onto the open road

we decided to take mike down to lopwell dam so he could see it for himself

unfortunately it was high tide so we could not cross over to the other side   Sad

as the day went on we did some rougher and tougher lanes  Grin Grin

i was told by mike when we finished the days fun

that we had by far taken him on the roughest lanes he has been to   Wink Wink

he was very impressed with the japanese vehicles and where they will fit

as we have some really tight lanes down this way

grendle was seen polishing his car for the starting picture   laugh laugh

the end of the day wash time Grin Grin

what a cracking day in the lanes

big thanks to all that came today

till the next adventure

Fab day out with excellent lanes. Faultless guiding by Lee and excellent pictures, I don't know how you do it while diving and navigating!

Having big issues getting the photo's up. Will try again using work internet at lunch time sorry for the delay Sad Sad

Hi all

Yes indeed what a day!

Thanks to Mike for joining us on our most excellent adventure thru some cracking lanes.

The day started off misty

4ft no thanks

Lee was his usual self

and his truck was all nice and clean(ish) ready for the magazine pics

Mike from TOR was apprentice gate monkey today he did an excellent job

An old favourite of Lee's claimed a victim, Matt had to deploy winch.....until it stopped working...

so tried some tyre smoking

this attracted the attention of the locals

Grendle sported a very smart pink shirt, I think he though we might be stopping for a round of golf.

The weather was quite kind so we could enjoy Devon and Cornwall without the wipers on.

Lee is never one to pass up on free logs so the chainsaw was deployed, like Matts winch it also gave up....

Now for the red lanes Shocked Grin

bits were falling off the G, oh dear

After that lane some refreshments were required. Always health and safety minded Lee took the warning about hot coffee and hot contents of pasty quite seiously.

It was the last lane of the day, another old favourite.

The cow though we were mad as we crunched and scratched our way by

But we all made it safely to the bottom of the lane, maybe with a bit of damage but heyho  Grin

That was the end of our adventure, Mikes mum had rang him and told him to 'stop messing around taking photos of the southern rednecks' and come home for tea.

Great lanes great company great fun

My day started a bit different, my temp fuel cap snapped in the tank when I went to fill up  Shocked, lucky I had my new multi tool on me and after a few attempts managed to fish it out.
