well what a day   Sad

started off early for me today got woken up with major stomach pains at 0300

and several more times throughout the early hours    Shocked

but as im the leader and havent been out in ages

i soldiered on down to mcdonalds at 0715

where i really was waiting for the others to arrive at 0800

we went and had some food

i must have been really ill as i only had the one meal today

i went out to get the laptop loaded up ready for when grendle arrived

as he was running a tad late today as an ambulance was blocking his street so he could not get out of the cul de sac

we waited around but the laptop would not load up the maps   Huh?

so i thought never mind we shall continue on our adventure until it comes good

grendle turns up and we are ready to go

but oh no my shogun remote is not working how strange

after 10 minutes of taking the remote apart and trying to see whats wrong with it

i decided to put a new battery in it

but still not working  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

so dean dropped me home for the spare keys

but still not working

so i got the car running but the alarm was flashing constantly

so i used the valet key to turn off the siren

we decided to continue the days fun with the lights flashing constantly

as time was ticking away we had already lost an hour of the sunshine  Grin

someone has been busy putting boulders in the lanes to stop us using them

these were very heavy to move as it took 3 people   Shocked

a bit tight

good job i washed the car on the way home as i had this stick jammed between the axle and the brake pipe   Shocked Shocked

even grendle washed his truck today

the broken remote

cars now all washed and ready for another adventure

both remotes are now working

they have been cleaned with scotch pad and both + pins re soldered as they were cracked

so all in all it was a gremlin day with all sorts going on in my car

i think its my cars way of telling me it dont like sitting around for to long without going out for a play

big thanks to all that came out today and big thanks to grendle for being late

as if he was on time and we did proceed to the lanes the remote would have broke in a lane  Shocked Shocked

which could have been miles away from anywhere  Shocked Shocked

funny how things turn out

as it happens we were not far from getting the spare set when it went wrong

till the next adventure

Cracking day for my first outing with the Armchair Laners.
The sporty Teraverick did well, just a few driver error issues to smooth out!  Wink

I really enjoyed this trip, particularly "Rocky Climb" were a little driver error let the G down. I know this because of the critique of my technique given over the CB by Lee and Tin Basher, with me unable to comment as I couldn't transmit  Angry Angry Angry. laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Again it was good to see different trucks out, the Maverick/Terrano was good fun, the Pinin entertaining as ever. Deans makeshift rear diff lock (handbrake) gave a few surprises.

Photo's to follow later when I've done a couple of hours decorating!  laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Thanks Lee great day  Grin Grin Grin ;Dout
