well what a weekend,
myself and frodo, bignasty and sandra, elwin and john,
departed from sunny plymouth at 1pm friday 12th march,
we were in no rush to get there but did have a nice steady drive at 60 mph,
we got into the travel lodge had a freshen up and then out to the pub 100 yards from the door,
a spot on meal followed by a few well earned beers,
saturday,
early start we left at 0800 to do some awesome lanes,
we done the gap road, strata florida but to name only a few,
awesome views snow on the mountain tops,
arrived back to the travel lodge at around 6.30,
some more well earned time in the pub,
sunday,
early start again,
took in some average lanes today,
but we found 1 lane in particular which blew us all away,
this lane was worth the trip alone 10 out of 10,
the best bit of it was that it hadnt been drives for about 10 years,
if not longer ?
then we did the gap road again but the other way,
up it this time with the steps and drop off to contend with only going upwards,
an amazeing drive,
the 3 shoguns drove faultlessly from start to finish,
although i did have a brake light bulb go,
that needed to be replaced for the journey home in the dark,
the people we met from the travel lodge and the pub and even walkers ect from the whole weekend were so friendly,
will defo be going back there for another look and the lanes,
top place top people top weekend,

the new dash set up,
these brackets that i made worked excellent,
held the video perfectly still whilst driveing and filming,
also the laptop was all secure and didnt move one bit,

strata florida

the bomb hole,

a lovely lane,
