well i started early this morning 0700,
to go to get the chainsaw and supplies for the day,
then over to mc donalds to get the food for the troops,
then it was a quick dash over to kelly bray to meet beki & dave at the designated layby,
with toby who was also in a shogun v6 lwb,
a member of     pajero owners club uk,
a quick bite to eat then off to meet up with sean and his father in there limited edition mint range rover,
all will become clear later when i post the photos,
then we carried on up to meet pete and brett,
who were sat waiting in a layby,

then we hit the lanes,
plenty of lanes throughout the day with a mixed bag of good, bad and 2 which have now been re graded due to tarmac,
we had a great day out with some new faces,
the 2 jimnys were great little runners throughout the day,

we did leave pete and brett later to head home whilst it was still light,
myself sean and dave decided to carry on and do some more lanes,

i did show them some good stuff on the way home which was an excellent end to the day,
i kept saying just 1 more its a great lane,
they didnt need much encouragement,
ok carry on,

poor beki was todays victim after dave went through a huge muddy puddle whilst beki was takeing some photos of him,
he soaked her from head to toe in brown muddy gloop,
beki you are a legend,
she proper took the soaking in her stride with no fuss at all,

dave will not be allowed out ever again  Shocked

big thanks to everyone who came,
i had a great day out,

the jimnys did well,
a well worth truck to consider with the riseing cost of fuel prices these days,
as i had to stop at launceston to top up with fuel just to get home  Shocked

but i love the comfort of me shogun,
real nice,
worth every penny,

Well i must say thanks for a great day out.
I had a great time,
im sorry i had to duck out a bit early but i really wish i could have stayed a bit longer
i was probably pushing my luck on road tyres as it was !!
I was very impressed at the capabilities of my shogun,
remember its completely standard,
no mods whatsoever.
i didnt even have to use the rear diff locker,
obviously the centre one got a bit of use !
Great to meet you all and i am looking forward to coming out with you all the next time im down,
maybe with a better set of tyres,
i may just have a go with the slicks again just for a laugh !!
Thanks guys and girls for making me feel very welcome,
I hope I managed to take the mick enough as I have since found out is part of the club rules.
I should have had a look at the forum first.

Well, what can we say. Another awesome day out.
Great to meet some new people and even better that vehicles varied in sizes. From toys to boats.
Lee is so good to us, bringing breakfasts and all.  Grin
The mud was really no big deal  Roll Eyes Plus, what's a weekend if it's not full of mud, trucks, and banter?
A truly good day  Wink
Some photos as follows....

Don't worry, they know what they're doing.

How many does it take to fix a rover?

I wasn't sure if this was a little tonka toy or a life-size truck??

Lee was keen to bring us home some firewood.

Job well done unhooking the poor shogun.

A kind splash.

A little soaking for the photographer.

And a right out mud bath for the photographer (me!)

No big deal. Clothes, camera's and egos will wash.

If you want more photos, pm me. Not all posted.
