Looks good mate, but it's odd that Land Rover owners chose to buy a car that needs all that work to be as good as a standard Shogun or Pajero? I just don't get it  Cheesy Huh?

yes i agree

but i think its down to the seating capacity that chunkster chose a landrover mate

as he needed plenty of room for the kids to be able to enjoy a day out aswell   Grin Grin

i cant think why anyone would wish to own a landrover to be honest   laugh laugh

You chose well Chunkster. My old Series has just sailed through another MOT at 48 years young! Can't see any of the inferior Japanese imitations making it that far. They will all be reborn as washing machines by then!

as we all know most landrovers owners get there m.o.t certificates either over the phone

or they call in to the nearest stevie wonder m.o.t station   laugh laugh

where as most mitsubishi owners are happy to get a failure sheet

as it shows that the vehicle has been inspected properly   Grin Grin

You could think of a fail sheet as a result of poor maintance.  Grin Grin

my landrover had a fail sheet this year. so i cracked out the welder. i do love welding you get such a sense of achievement went you make a really nice job off the repair.

yes i agree repairing the car does give satisfaction

but there is no way all that rot appeared in a 12 month period

who ever had the car previously must have gone to see stevie

which is very annoying to say the least

especially when you pay good money for a motor then rip up the carpets to find the tarmac

at least you have taken the bull by the horns and repaired the car properly

as most people would not have

but i guess when you carry such a fragile load  ( children )

its the only way to go     Wink Wink

All I'm saying is that you never see that level of rust on a Mitsy  Wink Smiley Smiley

You must really enjoy welding to buy a Land Rover! Grin
